About
About Las Vegas Xeriscape
A free consultation request line connecting Las Vegas Valley property owners with local xeriscape designers and installers for Cash for Grass-eligible turf conversion projects.
Who we are
Las Vegas Xeriscape is a free consultation request line for property owners across the Las Vegas Valley — homeowners, HOA boards, multifamily operators, commercial property owners, and property managers — researching xeriscape conversion, drought-tolerant landscape design, and the Southern Nevada Water Authority's Cash for Grass turf-replacement rebate program. The site itself is not the design or installation contractor. Consultation requests are routed to local Las Vegas xeriscape designers and installers when a project's scope, location, and timeline match a provider's available capacity.
What we do
When you call or submit the request form, we collect property type, address, approximate turf square footage to convert, project timeline, and any HOA or design preferences. The request is then routed to a local Las Vegas xeriscape designer for follow-up. From there, the assigned designer schedules an on-site assessment, prepares a design proposal, sequences the SNWA Cash for Grass pre-inspection where applicable, and provides itemized project pricing in writing before any installation work begins. Project pricing, design scope, license and insurance documentation, rebate handling specifics, and project timelines are confirmed directly with your designer — not by the consultation request line.
Service area
Coverage spans the Las Vegas Valley including Henderson, North Las Vegas, Summerlin and Summerlin South, Spring Valley, Enterprise, Paradise, Green Valley, Anthem, Aliante, Mountain's Edge, Centennial Hills, Southern Highlands, Inspirada, and Boulder City. Provider availability varies by neighborhood, project scope, and timeline. Properties outside the Las Vegas Valley can call to request a service-area review.
Why this line exists
Las Vegas operates one of the most aggressive turf-replacement programs in the United States. The SNWA Water Smart Landscapes Rebate — Cash for Grass — pays property owners to convert qualifying turf, and Nevada Assembly Bill 356 (passed 2021) requires removal of non-functional turf in the Las Vegas Valley by 2027 for HOA, commercial, multifamily, and government properties. Together, these programs create both an opportunity (the rebate) and an obligation (the 2027 deadline) for a large segment of Las Vegas property owners. This line exists to make connecting with a qualified local xeriscape designer simple, free, and obligation-free.
How we are positioned
We are transparent about the consultation-request model. The site does not claim a specific portfolio of completed projects, a specific contractor license, a specific insurance dollar amount, or any first-person installation guarantees. Those are properly owned by the assigned designer and confirmed with you before any project begins. What this line offers is a fast, no-obligation way to start a Las Vegas xeriscape consultation conversation with a local provider — and clear, accurate information about the Cash for Grass program and AB 356 compliance landscape while you decide whether to proceed.
